I grew up on the Canadian border in upstate NY. I relocated to Colorado soon after college
in 1997 and have been living here ever since.
I fell in love with design the moment I started art classes. I earned an Associates Degree and then a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Graphic Design at the State University of New York at New Paltz, studying under professors who were trained by the grandfathers of design – Milton Glaser and Paul Rand. I had the chance to meet Mr. Glaser, that experience sealed
the deal on my love affair with design.
I have been a Designer and Art Director for over 25 years. I am currently an Art Director
for Lumen Technologies, a multinational technology company that enables companies to capitalize on emerging applications and power the 4th Industrial Revolution.
I have worked in a variety of settings, which has made me an extremely versatile creative. I've contracted for companies including University of Colorado Boulder, OtterBox, F+W Media, Burke Design Studio and Burns Marketing – creating large multi-platform campaigns. I love developing branding for businesses of all sizes, telling their stories through visual messaging and photography. Incorporating all of these things into what I do for my career
is unbelievably cool.
